About

I have been working for Light & Wonder for almost two years as a Senior Software. Currently, I am working on Mutli-View Electronic Table Games (ETG) in Unity and C# helping design the backend for a new way to play Blackjack. Before that I helped architect the layout and transition system, allowing users to seemless transition between multiple tables and an 8 table “trend view”. At L&W, I’ve also worked on state-of-the-art Blackjack card and chip detection Computer Vision AI allowing casinos to keep better track of their dealers.
Previously I worked for Ridgeline Apps for over three years, initially as a product intern and then as a DevOps Engineer. I worked everyday with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment orchestration tooling. I’ve also developed proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Github Actions, Datadog, and more. At Ridgeline I helped design and implement key components of the their deployment and operations tool which helped enable the DevOps team to cleanly manage environments and deployment and enabled the company to deploy environments and code continuously.
On the side, I’ve been working on my Unity game, Planet Ball. Originally developed for the 2018 UNR Hackathon, I’ve recently revisited the game and hope to release it on Steam soon. A huge achievement I’ve made is implementing component-based client-server prediction and rollback netcode which allows the game’s complicated physics to run smoothly across the network.
I also try to maintain my senior project, Snow Pass. Inspired by many icy trips between Sacramento and Reno over Donner pass, Snow Pass aggregates maps, webcams, weather, and Nevada DOT twitter.
